- 23.05.–29.09.2019 — Exhibition “Ausdruckstanz und Bauhausbühne”, August Kestner Museum Hanover: five figurines from The Mechanical Ballet (TdK) were rebuilt 1:1 as exhibition figurines by Christian Forsen; four stand on their own scaffold stage above a video monitor showing excerpts from the TdK staging, while the fifth, “Der Kleine” (The Little One), looks up at them from below. J.U. Lensing wrote the catalogue essay “bauhausbühne: Originale – Aneignungen – Weiterführungen”. In a dedicated screening room, the Bavarian Broadcasting (BR) film of the “Triadic Ballet” (1969/70) alternated with excerpts from TdK’s “TRIAS – Das triadische Ballett” (2015) — allowing a direct comparison of two very different stagings of the same figurines.
