NEUE elektronische TÖNE
Revival of a legend: From 1981 to 1988, the series NEUE TÖNE shaped the Düsseldorf contemporary music scene. After a 36-year pause, THEATER DER KLÄNGE brings it back — with five experimentally working composers from Düsseldorf.

Musicalopithèque
A lecture-concert by and with Jean-Jacques Lemêtre (Théâtre du Soleil, Paris). Over 130 unique instruments of wood, clay, metal, leather and plants — from the Stone Age to the cultures of Africa, Asia and the Aztecs. Most recently composer for Heinrich Heine’s Le Grand. A cooperation between FH Dortmund and Theater der Klänge.

Erasmus+ 2022–2024
Viral Visions – Deconstructing Arts Immunity
Seven European partners — including Body Architects (Vienna), Nowa Fala (Warsaw) and THEATER DER KLÄNGE — explored the social relevance of artistic practice in times of crisis. Outcomes: Digital Handbook, curriculum for arts educators, podcast series and multiplier events. THEATER DER KLÄNGE presented its closing event during a guest performance in Viersen.

Erasmus+ 2020–2022
Dance Highways
European Erasmus+ project 2020–2022: producers from Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Spain and Norway developed audience development strategies for culturally underserved communities. Lead partner: “La Galerie choréographique” in Carcassonne (F). Further partners: “La Fundición” (Bilbao), “DAVVI” (Hammerfest) and “L’espace” (Palermo).
